From our "How to Apply to Medical School" seminar, featuring guest speaker and KDSAP founder, Dr. Li-Li Hsiao MD, PhD, to our clinical skills workshops, USC KDSAP offers members opportunities to explore their interest in the field of medicine and nephrology. Students learn firsthand what inspired our team of nephrologists to pursue their careers, and perhaps see themselves going down the same paths in the future.

Dr. Li-Li Hsiao MD, PhD is not only the national KDSAP Founder and Director but also a former member of the Harvard Medical School Admissions Committee. While paying a visit to the USC KDSAP Chapter, she shared valuable insights to the medical school application process as well as helpful tips for how to be a successful medical school applicant with over 150 USC students.

Dr. Grayson Jaggers is an Assistant Professor in the USC Department of Biological Sciences. As a guest speaker, Dr. Jaggers introduced students to a system he developed to connect students to research positions in their fields of interest. He also gave great advice on how to be the best candidate for research positions.
